Our first general recording went quite well, using SM58 mics round the house we layed out a nice foundation for our song. We had a nice simple fat bass line in standard tuning, A heavy distorted funk guitar line in drop D and for the vocals got a basic layout of flowing lyrics that are almost spoken word.
Vocals still need to be re-recorded and solos and a drum beat from the drum box still need to be over dubbed... The master piece is in sight
